Days after giving birth to my firstborn.
I’ve sat in most seats in the birthing room: as a mother, a nurse, and now, your doula.
My path to this work started with my journey to motherhood. During a moment of fear and vulnerability, a nurse saw my fear, looked into my eyes, and calmly held my hand. She reassured me that she wouldn’t leave my side. That single act of profound empathy sparked my calling.
Since then, my own two births—one, a 24-hour epidural birth, the other, a whirlwind unmedicated birth—taught me firsthand how joy, fear, and uncertainty can coexist in the same breath.
For the past decade, I have served families as a Labor & Delivery and Postpartum nurse, navigating everything from low-intervention to high-risk births. Today, I weave that deep clinical understanding into my work as a doula. While I don’t wear the medical hat in the room, I bring a calm, expert presence to ensure you feel safe, seen, and completely supported.
